Condensation and Frost Sensing

You can use the RG-11 to reliably detect condensation or frost. In this mode, the Rain Gauge continuously monitors the clarity of the sensing surface. Decreases in the clarity are sensed as condensation. The unit is self calibrating. Thus gradual changes, resulting from dirt, dust or grime build-up, are ignored. See the RG-11 instructions for details on setting the condensation detection threshold.
